Serving working people since 1946.

Bleiweiss Communications, Inc. (BCI) is North America’s premier communications firm serving labor unions, health care and pension benefit funds and other union-related organizations. We write, design, compose and publish high-quality magazines, newspapers, websites, newsletters, brochures and other materials for our clients — accurately, on time and on budget.

In addition, BCI prepares customized speeches, editorials, videos, multimedia presentations, email updates, voice messages and letters for every need and audience.

BCI is the second oldest advertising agency in Southern California, representing the needs of satisfied clients since 1946. Our staff has prepared and executed successful campaigns using radio, billboards, print media, websites and social media.

All members of BCI’s staff, including the CEO, are members of United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 324, making the firm one of the only 100% union communications firms in North America. The firm has had a collective bargaining agreement in place without interruption since 1946.

We are proud of our work and are passionate about the causes and people we serve.

Our Work

What Our Clients Are Saying

“I have held a variety of union positions from local union president and regional director to director of collective bargaining. In all of these capacities, I have worked with BCI and they have served our communications needs creatively, effectively and efficiently.”

Bill McDonough, President and CEO, Southwest Service Administrators

“As a local union president, I know the importance of communicating with our members and the general public, when needed. BCI’s knowledge and expertise helps us get our message out.”

Jim McLaughlin, President, UFCW Local 99 & UFCW International Vice President

“We’ve come to rely on BCI to communicate with our members. They always meet deadlines and the quality of the work they produce is extraordinary. We have found them to be invaluable.”

Jacques Loveall, President, UFCW 8-Golden State & UFCW International Vice President

“BCI publishes six different newsletters for the trust funds we administer. As a result of their thorough understanding of our members’ needs, phone calls and claims processing have been significantly reduced. They have helped us educate our members to use their benefits more efficiently, thereby reducing our costs.

Jim Garrison, President, Pacific Federal Insurance Corporation

“There’s almost nothing BCI can’t do for us. They help plan the events, promote them and keep in touch with our supporters with beautiful brochures and newsletters so that every year we raise more money for our charity. And their videos make even the toughest of folks tear-up and cry!”

Frank Dininger, Loveall Foundation for Children

“Again, [District Lodge] 142 impresses with this newspaper-formatted quarterly newsletter. The publication covers a wide range of topics, uses great member photos that tell a story on their own and features articles about their members’ accomplishments.”
